Masterbulk gives the highest priority to quality and safety in transporting and storing goods.
Masterbulk is SQAS qualified. You can find our current certificate right here.

The quality label SQAS (Safety and Quality Assessment System) is created by CEFIC (European Chemical Industry Council). This evaluation system checks by means of an independent auditor if the company meets the requirements in relation to organisation, quality, safety and environment.

Operation Clean Sweep

Masterbulk is also committed to the Operation Clean Sweep programme to prevent pellet loss during handling and transportation, as well as their release into the environment. As a carrier of plastic pellets, it is very important for us to participate in this programme because pellet loss is very harmful for the environment and must be reduced to zero pellet loss.

The six OCS commitments in Europe are:

1. Improving workplaces to avoid the loss of plastic granules.

2. Creating and publishing internal procedures.

3. Employee training for compliance with this commitment.

4. Regular auditing.

5. Compliance with all national and local regulations.

6. Encouraging partners (contractors, freight forwarders, trading companies, etc.) to pursue the same goals.
